Training Centre Fitout
Hyundai Motor Company wanted to turn a bare factory shell of 1500sqm into a regional training facility – all subject to a tight completion timeline.
Their goal was to transform the empty facility into a state-of-the-art complex that would serve the purpose of training current and existing staff. They wanted to provide their staff with the best possible space to learn and develop in a collaborative, comfortable, and engaging environment.
To achieve this, they needed a company that would remain a reliable source for the duration of their project. That supplier was required to manage all the trades and materials for partitioning, ceilings, floor coverings, electrical, lighting, data & communications, HVAC, plumbing, landscaping, and fire services.

Hyundai engaged Bowen Interiors to manage the entire project.
The critical factor in making this project successful was the need to ensure that the facility was fitted with all of the necessary equipment required to train staff. Hyundai received workstations, office furniture, and custom joinery installations as part of their complete fitout service.
From the moment staff or guests enter the facility, they are met with a vibrant space that clearly defines Hyundai’s brand through its logo and colours. Featured in the build was modern and brand-related wall art that accompanied comfortable waiting room furniture.
The facility has spacious offices and learning areas where staff can collaborate. At the same time, they can now learn on hand’s skills by using the fully functional factory floor, a stand-out feature of the facility.
Without the stress of managing any aspects of the project, Hyundai maintained its focus on serving customers. This proved to be the ultimate experience when it came to maintaining their efficiency while the project was completed seamlessly, meeting all time and budget performance indicators. The final result was a modern design that catered to multiple purposes for Hyundai, its trainees, and staff.
